Information about the new HUMMEL handballs

Hummel has completely revamped its handball product range for 2025. Virtually all old models are being discontinued or replaced. We'd be happy to explain exactly what this entails at Hummel.

New from Hummel is the STAR handball line. The balls consist of a 12-piece panel instead of the previous 32 pieces. Thanks to the new construction, the ball offers improved bounce, a better trajectory, and better catching ability.

We were able to provide one of the new STAR balls to the HC Ehrendingen first division team for testing beforehand, and the results were very positive. The only real criticism was that it was a bit too hard. The ball tested was the hmlSTAR PRO, the flagship of the STAR line. The STAR line will include everything from training balls to high-performance match balls.

In addition to the STAR line, there will also be the CLASSIC line. The CLASSIC line replaces all previous models one-to-one and differs only in design from older balls like the Elite or Concept. This line also covers all areas, from training and match balls to kids' and street handball balls.

We are delighted to be one of the first shops in Switzerland to offer the new balls.
